Why it works
Read more
Half-width panels for narrow places — window sills, shelf edges, the top of a fence. Twelve 16 × 8 inch mats cover about 10.5 square feet and come with 6 garden staples and 10 zip ties. A 13-foot roll does the same job in one piece.
Where it goes
Sills, shelves, fence tops, railings.
Plastic spike mats that make counters, beds and flowerpots uncomfortable to walk on.
Good to know
Zip-tie the mats to balcony railings with the spikes facing up; cats stop using the rail as a walkway.
